When we say pancakes, you may think of maple syrup. Here’s a delicious maple caramel pancake that uses our latest dessert flavor, Maple Caramel dessert. Replacing the eggs and oil in a typical pancake recipe, this quick-and-easy recipe is a healthier version for you as it contains zero cholesterol and it has 80% less saturated fats (when compared to traditional pancakes). Easy, healthful and yummy, kids will love making and eating them too! This recipe makes 12 regular-sized pancakes or 48 mini bite-size pancakes.

INGREDIENTS
1 package Sunrise Maple Caramel dessert tofu
½ cup water
1½ cups pancake mix
3 tsp baking powder
Non-stick cooking spray (for greasing)
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat a lightly greased griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients (except the cooking spray) until well combined.
3. Pour or scoop the batter onto the hot pan. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Makes approximately twelve 4” pancakes.
Tip: make this a vegan recipe – just read the pancake mix package to ensure that it does not contain traces of eggs & milk.
