The holiday season is usually synonymous with gifts, parties, and of course, delicious food! We’ve put together some easy holiday baking recipes that are perfect for you to share.

Instead of having gingerbread cookies or a gingerbread house for dessert, why not try our Easy Gingerbread Cake?

Made with the sweet and warm flavours of molasses and cinnamon, your guests will be fighting over the last piece! By using our Sunrise Original Flavour Dessert Tofu instead of eggs, we cut down the cholesterol and fat that is typically found in most traditional cake recipes.

Feel free to get creative with how you garnish the cake too! We used a dusting of icing sugar, but you can never go wrong with coloured sprinkles or a smooth icing glaze.

Snickerdoodle Cookies

Snickerdoodles are one of our favourite Christmas cookie recipes. Soft and chewy, our version is made using our Sunrise Soft Tofu to replace the milk and eggs that would otherwise be found in this recipe. By using tofu, the cookies come out perfectly moist throughout the centre.

Try turning this cookie recipe into a fun holiday activity for kids:

Roll out the cookie dough a little less than ¼ inch thick, then use your favourite cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes. Decorate with sprinkles, coloured icing sugar or chocolates once the cookies done cooling.

This gluten-free cake recipe is by far one of our favourites for the season. Made using cocoa powder and maple syrup, this chocolate cake is rich, but not too sweet. The Sunrise Soft Tofu and Sunrise Fortified Light Soymilk we used to replace the eggs and milk also make this cake a great option for vegans!
Warning: This cake is seriously may need to bake 2 of them - one for you and one for your friends.
