We are looking for a dedicated OFA Level 2 to join our growing team. The candidate must consistently convey professional judgement, excel in safety management and be able to assist with various production related duties when not performing safety responsibilities.


  • Promotes a culture of job site safety
  • Ensures that employees receive the highest standards of safety and instruction
  • Ensures all accidents, incidents and injuries are properly reported to all appropriate parties
  • Maintains and prepares thorough documentation and reports
  • Prepares site safety plans, conducts hazard assessments, incident investigations and risk assessments, as required
  • Reports any production abnormalities to Production management, such as unsafe working condition
  • Exercises Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of the production floor and soybean unloading area
  • Works well with other employees and lead hands to meet the daily scheduled production volume
  • Complies and adheres to HACCP, SQF and GMP standards, requirements and practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Production Lead hands and Production Management Team


  • Minimum Occupational First Aid Level II (OFA 2)
  • Good knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations, policies, guidelines and standards
  • High school graduate or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in working in a food manufacturing plant a definite asset
  • Experience in working in an assembly line a definite asset
  • Strong team player
  • Exposure to noisy and a wet working environment
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs on a consistent basis
