  • 1 pkg Sunrise Banana Flavour Tofu Dessert (2x150g) mixed
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) margarine or butter
  • 250 mL (1 cup) brown sugar
  • 2 large bananas, ripe
  • 625 mL (2 ½ cup) flour
  • 15 mL (1 Tbsp) baking powder
  • 2 mL (1/2 tsp) baking soda
  • 2 mL (1/2 tsp) salt
  • 250 mL (1 cup) chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 175ºC (350°F). Lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix margarine and brown sugar until combined. Add tofu and mix until incorporated.
  3. In a bowl, mash bananas and add to tofu mixture. Mix well.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix dry ingredients, except chocolate chips, together.
  5. Add dry ingredients to tofu banana mixture and stir in chocolate chips until combined.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for approximately 25-35 minutes or when a toothpick comes out clean.
